LATEST RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE TRAVELLING TO LITHUANIA/ LITHUANIA HAS OPENED ITS BORDERS TO FULLY VACCINATED US CITIZENS

FULLY VACCINATED travelers (LITHUANIANS, US CITIZENS and others) arriving to Lithuania are obligated to register with the National Public Health Center (https://keleiviams.nvsc.lt/en/form) not earlier than 48 hours before their arrival to Lithuania. Persons will be asked to show proof of registration before the beginning of their trip. Also they must show a vaccination certificate (we encourage to get a signed vaccination record from the doctor). Persons who are fully vaccinated are exempt from test and isolation.

FROM 1ST OF JUNE FULLY VACCINATED US CITIZENS CAN ARRIVE TO LITHUANIA.

US citizens who are NOT VACCINATED, can enter Lithuania only if their family members (spouses, children, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers and sisters) are Lithuanian citizens. Proof of relationship (marriage, birth certificate and etc.) and citizenship of a close relative of the Republic of Lithuania proving document (passport) is required.

US citizens who are coming to Lithuania with the exceptions mentioned below AND ARE NOT VACCINATED have to have negative COVID – 19 test (PCR) taken within 72 hours before the entry to Lithuania and it must be presented to the carrier before the journey. The test for COVID-19 is mandatory for individuals from 16 years inclusively.

Even if the COVID-19 test is negative 10-day self-isolation is mandatory for persons who are not vaccinated.
